Allspice (Jamaican) Powder

Pimenta dioica

Strongly aromatic, like cloves with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg; the taste is similar, but with some peppery heat.

Used to create the spicey Jamaican jerk, as well as a meat stuffing and marinade base.
Historically, a prized ingredient in the French spice mixture quatre épices.
