The night sweats, hot flashes, mood swings and vaginal dryness of menopause can be relieved with a decoction of Black Cohosh. Pour a cup of boiling water over 1/2 teaspoon of the root and steep 3-5 minutes. Drink 1-2 cups per day. It may take 4-6 weeks for full benefits to be realized. Can also ease painful menstruation and PMS. Add honey and lemon, of desired. Do not use if pregnant or nursing.
