Medicinally, it is said to be a stimulant, such as cinnamon & ginger; chew on seeds to relieve flatulence & indigestion & sweeten your breath.

Cardamom’s taste is a gentle ginger with a pinch of pine. It enhances the flavors of squash, sweet potatoes, duck, pork, pastries, pickling brines, sweet & sour meatballs, coffee & sweet pastries. One pod contains about 8 seeds.
